Lake Monticello Owners’ Association is a partially gated community where some 12,000 residents appreciate the privacy and safety of a homeowner's association. Lake Monticello boasts over 4300 homes surrounding our fun 352-acre lake. Located in the heart of Central Virginia, we are 15 miles southeast of Charlottesville and 67 miles from Richmond, and it is a gorgeous 2.5-hour drive to our nation’s capital. The Shenandoah National Park, Blue Ridge Parkway, and Atlantic coastline are just ‘around the corner.’ Whether you are looking to buy a home, play a round of golf, or rent a space for an event, you are welcome at Lake Monticello.
