Good news! The gray season is ending, and spring is in the air – a time of renewal and fresh starts awaits us.

As you drive through the community, you will see winter’s toll – soggy papers underneath mailboxes, rusted mailboxes, wood debris and leaves accumulated over the winter, weather-beaten car covers, clogged culverts, bare soil wanting to be seeded and covered, mildew on buildings, and last but not least, those last holdouts of holiday lights and decorations.

Let's take pride in our homes and yards and tackle these issues. Together, we can make Lake Monticello a beautiful place to live.

Spring clean-up is more than just an aesthetic endeavor; it is crucial for fostering a sense of community and belonging. A well-maintained neighborhood reflects the collective effort and pride of its residents. By addressing the remnants of winter, we not only improve the appearance of our surroundings but also create a healthier and more enjoyable environment for everyone while also protecting our property values.

As we spring ahead this weekend, let’s all spring into action and take pride in our community. By working together, we can maintain Lake Monticello as a beautiful, safe, and welcoming place to live.
