LMOA is excited to offer the convenience of text alerts to help you stay informed. With the Everbridge platform, LMOA can alert you via text during emergencies, and you can also opt to receive updates about upcoming events and other community announcements.

How to Register
Voluntary registration is easy—just click THIS LINK, fill out your details, and select the types of alerts you want to receive. You can also choose to receive the messages via email or phone call. The form will ask which section you live in. If you’re unsure about your section, no worries—here is A MAP to help you identify your section.

What is Everbridge?
Everbridge is a cloud-based platform used by various government agencies to send messages, including emergency alerts, announcements, reminders, and community updates, much like the system used by our public schools. LMOA chose Everbridge because it is considered very reliable, and it categorized LMOA as a small local government, making it affordable as well. 

Does Everbridge have an app?
Yes. You can receive messages from LMOA without downloading the Everbridge App, but if you enjoy receiving real-time push notifications and the convenience of having everything in one place, please download the app from your app store. If you already have the older version, you can add LMOA to your account using the Organization Code 'LMOA'. The newer version is called Everbridge 360, and the code is also 'LMOA'. 


What if you don’t want Everbridge?
Of course, that's ok! But while signing up for Everbridge is not mandatory, please keep in mind that LMOA’s normal email service might not always be accessible during storms. Technology can be unpredictable in those conditions - as we learned during the 2022 Snowstorm - but Everbridge has a proven reputation of being a dependable and stable option. We encourage you to consider registering HERE!

When will LMOA start using Everbridge? 
A test message is scheduled to be sent out on January 15, 2025. If you wish to SIGN UP, please do so before this date. Thank you!
